Danielle Trzcinski

DANIELLE was first introduced to improv comedy at Florida State University by the NYC-based sketch team Murderfist who, not only encouraged her to study improv, but to pursue sketch and stand-up comedy as well.  She was immediately hooked and has now performed her stand-up act in Tallahassee, Tampa, Chicago and New York.

In 2007 Danielle moved to NYC to study musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.  It was there that a teacher recommended she go to the UCBT (a recommendation that CHANGED HER LIFE).  She has completed the multi-level improv curriculum at UCBT studying under teachers such as Anthony Atamanuik, Neil Casey, Shannon O’Neill and Doug Moe.  She has also studied sketch writing under Ari Voukydis.  She is a founding member of The Garys!

In 2010, Danielle achieved “top 25″ in NBC’s Last Comic Standing, as well as top 5 females in NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity in 2011.  She has been on tour with Nikelodeon’s “Storytime Live!” as well as the national tour of “Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.”  In the Fall of 2011, she was accepted into the BMI Lehman Engel Workshop as a lyricist and is the book writer and Lyric writer for “Non Equity the Musical!” www.nonequitythemusical.com.  NETM will be performed at the NY Fringe Festival.  Additional details here.
