MARTIN grew up in suburban New Jersey and lived in Houston, TX for over 10 years before returning to the Northeast in 2004. He now calls Brooklyn home. He has studied both sketch writing and improvisational comedy at the UCB Theater since 2007 under teachers Charlie Sanders, Betsy Stover, Curtis Gwinn, Neil Casey, Chelsea Clarke, Will Hines, Kevin Hines, and many other gracious/talented coaches and performers.
Improv has been a great source of joy and inspiration for him, and a welcome relief from the stresses of the corporate world, where he can be found doing consulting work as a financial data analyst. He is very pleased to now be performing with The Garys, and is especially excited about the group’s generous health and retirement benefits. When not improvising he enjoys watching tennis and eating cashews.
