ANJEANETTE’S first taste of improv was in her high school days (where she formed her first improv team) and while apprenticing with ‘Fools Play Improv’ in Tacoma, Washington. She studied theater and theology at the University of Dallas and played with the improv team named ‘Yes &’ (she’s not kidding). In grad school she performed in a two-prov show at a bar with microphones. It was terrible. She later enrolled at UCBT and studied under Anthony Atamanuik (30 Rock), Curtis Gwinn, Gavin Speiller and Zach Woods (The Office). By day, Anjeanette works as a lighting designer for theaters in New York and as a designer in conjunction with architecture firms. By night, she performs improv with NYC-based teams Out of the Woods and, of course, The Garys.
